In the Andean valley of Chili, the Hass variety of avocado pears grow using organic techniques. Using cold extraction to conserve all of the beneficial properties of the avocado, the amazingly fruity, buttery and rich tasting oil is produced. On salads, it contributes a hint of avocado flavor, and when sautéing it gives a nice buttery richness to meats and vegetables. With a smoke point of 500°F it is suitable for medium-high heat. Use Avocado Oil for stir-frying, frying, sautéing, baking, dipping, blending into a dressing/sauce, or drizzling on a finished dish.
