Ingredients
-
1 Fully Cooked Bone-In Ham, about 10 lbs
-
2 Tbsp Roasted Shallot Infused Olive Oil
-
2 Tbsp Sweet Smoked Chili Rub & Seasoning
-
½ cup Brown Sugar
-
¼ cup Cara Cara Cherry White Barrel Aged Balsamic
-
½ tsp Vanilla Bean Infused Sea Salt
-
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
-
⅓ cup Orange Juice
-
1 Orange, sliced
-
1 Apple, sliced
-
½ cup Water
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°F.
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the Roasted Shallot Infused Olive Oil, Sweet Smoked Chili Rub & Seasoning, brown sugar, Cara Cara Cherry White Barrel Aged Balsamic, Vanilla Bean Infused Sea Salt, Dijon mustard, and orange juice. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the glaze is combined.
Add orange slices, apple slices, and water to the bottom of the roasting pan. Place the rack back on top and set the ham on it.
Score the top of the ham about 1 inch deep in a crisscross pattern. Brush a layer of glaze over the ham, tent loosely with foil, and transfer to the oven.
Every 15 minutes, remove the foil and brush the ham with more glaze. After 1 hour, uncover the ham completely and continue glazing every 15 minutes.
Cook until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 145°F, about 10–15 minutes per pound (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours total).
Remove from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
