Make popcorn perfectly every time with healthy olive oil and all-natural sea salts. The proportions in this recipe can be used with any of your favorite oils or sea salts when making popcorn. Try mixing and matching some other favorite flavor combos including:
Pizzaolio Olive Oil with Parmesan Asiago DipperBlood Orange Olive Oil with Vanilla Bean Sea SaltCaramelized Garlic Olive Oil with Black Truffle Sea Salt
Use these same proportions when cooking popcorn in a Leuke Microwave Popcorn Popper instead of on the stovetop as well!
3-4 Tbsp Sweet Cream Butter Olive Oil, divided
1/2 cup Popcorn Kernels
3/4 tsp Sea Salt (Red Hawaiian, Sel Gris, or Australian Flake)
In a large pot, heat 2 Tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat.
Once hot add kernels and cover. Occasionally shake the pot to ensure even heating.
Once popping slows to less than every 3 seconds, remove from heat and let rest for 1 minute.
Season with another 1-2 Tbsp olive oil and sea salt. Enjoy!
