The Olivelle Difference
Your Top Questions, Answered
No, our oils are not certified organic, but here’s why that’s actually a good thing:
At Olivelle, we work closely with small, family-run farms around the world. These estate partners are deeply committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices. However, the process to become certified organic is often lengthy, expensive, and difficult for small producers to pursue, especially when they’re already going above and beyond in their care for the land and their crops.
For us, quality matters more than a label. We prioritize transparency, traceability, and taste. Every oil we carry is thoughtfully sourced, freshly pressed, and rigorously tested for purity, freshness, and flavor.
So while you may not see the organic stamp, you can trust that you're getting exceptional, high-quality oils made with care from grove to bottle!
Our oils are best at medium to medium-high heat. If you're frying at super high temps (like 425°F and up), olive oil isn't your go-to. But for roasting, sautéing, or pan-frying? Go for it!
Need high-heat? Try our Cold Pressed Avocado Oil! It’s built for the heat.
While dark bottles can help protect oil from sunlight, it’s the way you store your oil that matters. A cool, dark spot is key. Plus, we pour every order fresh so there’s no need to worry about how long it’s been sitting around or how it’s been handled like at the grocery store. And let’s be honest, those crystal-clear bottles let you see that gorgeous olive oil in all its glory!
Keep your oils in a cool, dark place like a pantry or cupboard. Heat, light, and air are the enemies of fresh avocado oil! Make sure the lid is tightly sealed after each use to keep the flavor locked in.
Avoid: Storing near your stove or in direct sunlight.
All of our Olive Oils and Seed Oils are poured fresh for every order so each bottle is packed with fresh flavor! These oils are best enjoyed within 12–18 months of purchase. We suggest storing in a cool, dark place with the cap tightly sealed.
