RICH, DARK & THICK - LIKE A TRADITIONAL BALSAMIC! This barrel aged balsamic is a rich blend of 80% cooked grape must and premium aged wine vinegar, blended in perfect harmony and then aged up to 10 years in small oak casks.

Sun-ripened late harvest Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes are hand selected before soft-pressing to produce the highest quality grape must. The grape must is cooked in open steel kettles to reduce the must by half, then blended with aged wine vinegar to balance the acidity, and left to ferment in small oak barrels. This traditional aging method is known as the Solera Method.

    Favorite Balsamic!!

    This a an amazing balsamic vinegar - pairs well with so many things. It is my favorite balsamic - great texture and flavor. My favorite use is with PizzaOlio Infused Olive Oil and Parmesan Asiago Dipper with fresh bread.

    Adding flavor and tenderness to meat and mushrooms.

    I rub it on (and into) a steak before putting it on the grill. I believe it adds flavor and tenderizes the meat. The same is true when grilling a Portobello mushroom.

    Barrel Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar

    I love this balsamic vinegar! I mix it with regular olive oil, and use it as a salad dressing along with goat cheese and dried cranberries.
